Your Learning Partner
Do you have big ambitions for your organisation, or are you facing massive change? Supporting your team with strategic learning and development will get you there faster, smoother and together.
Most charities don't have a dedicated learning and development function. Yet evidence shows that organisations are more successful, resilient and adaptable adaptable if learning is prioritised and that individuals who learn at work enjoy better wellbeing, motivation, morale, knowledge, skills, confidence and job satisfaction.
We work alongside CEOs and senior leaders to fix that. Not an expensive full-time hire, but a strategic L&D partner who brings director-level thinking and implementation at a fraction of the cost.
For Your Organisation
We don't book courses or tick CPD boxes, we take the time to understand where your organisation is and your ambitions and build a tailored bridge between the two. We make sure that you and your team have the skills and knowledge you need to not only deliver, but to excel.
We work with you and your senior leaders to ensure a strategy that aligns with and drives forwards your organisational goals. We will lead the design, implementation and evaluation of an innovative learning and development strategy that suits your organisation.
We offer a structured partnership, typically six to to twelve months which includes:
-
An assessment of your current position and what your teams need to deliver your business strategy
-
A clear organisational learning strategy and implementation plan
-
An evaluation framework to understand the impact of learning in your organisation
-
A curated timetable of learning opportunities for your teams (employees & volunteers)
-
Individual support for a small number of your team (sparring partner for your CEO, mentor for fundraiser etc).
What Success Looks Like
A charity facing the closure of a major service needed to keep 125 staff and volunteers motivated, customer-focused and delivering, for a full year, knowing what was coming. I built a learning programme designed specifically for that moment. Retention held. Customer service scores stayed consistently high. The programme received commendations from colleagues from across the wider organisation.
Across Derbyshire's charitable sector, I led a sector-wide skills assessment and developed a tailored learning programme directly responsive to what organisations said they needed. The results were measurable: participating organisations saw an average 2% increase in income. 97% of participants said the training was useful and that their new skills would benefit their organisation. 100% found the training engaging and the trainer knowledgeable.
That kind of outcome — skills that translate directly into organisational performance — is what good L&D actually looks like.
